The book provides information on all aspects of multidisciplinary management of a range of low-impact to life-threatening diseases, written by contributors from disciplines including dermatology, head and neck surgery, radiation and medical oncology, prosthodontry, and psychology. Early chapters give background on skin anatomy, clinical evaluation, the psychosocial impact of skin cancer treatment, screening and prevention, and ultraviolet carcinogenesis and immune suppression. Chapters devoted to non-melanoma skin cancer cover histopathology, epidemiology, staging, prognosis, and surgical and non-surgical management.
