Volume two in a set of works intended to introduce advanced system modeling techniques to the field of agricultural research, this collection of fifteen articles focuses on practical methodologies for model-based research and the timely delivery of useful research products to the industry. Papers discuss such topics as parameterization and calibration of field research models, special features and procedures for specific modeling programs, and software for crop modeling in a variety of circumstances. Each essay works from specific case study material and includes relevant data sets, illustrations and tables.
