Monitoring technologies for bridge management.

This collection of eighteen articles on bridge management showcases current scholarship in contemporary structural health monitoring (SHM) technologies. Applying a multidisciplinary approach that includes civil and electrical engineering as well as traditional physics, modern SHM applies techniques previously limited to laboratory research in the field, providing more accurate and timely data for maintenance, safety and design personnel.
