This volume was written by and for teachers of all grade levels who are interested in using writing and collaborative learning to enhance their classroom practice. The contributors — members of several writing groups that emerged out of the Kennesaw Mountain Writing Project in Kennesaw, Georgia — explain how they formed an intentional community of practice and describe the personal and professional growth that resulted.
