Recovering the U.S. Hispanic literary heritage; v.6.
Established and emerging scholars consider various aspects of culture and identity as expressed by Hispanic authors over the centuries in territories that have become part of the U.S. The twelve papers were among those presented at the eighth Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project Conference, which was held in November 2004 at the U. of New Mexico. "The Critical Importance of Region" was the unifying theme of the conference. Three of the essays are presented in Spanish only. (Annotation ©2007 Book News Inc. Portland, OR)
